"I was suffering from dengue fever two months ago and observed a rapid hair loss, though I’m only 20. My doctor recommended me to use Nioxin’s Scalp therapy to make my scalp healthier to hold my hair. It is not a prescription medicine however. The scalp therapy is to be used to serve the purpose of a “conditioner”. The conditioner leaves the hair “well conditioned” but my experience with it was rather “tingling”. The conditioner, however, produces tingling sensation which lasts for some time till the hairs are completely dried. One can suppose that the tingling sensation is due to the natural ingredients fighting with the scalp and win-lose battle is going on the head. However, I don’t feel it doing anything weird on the surface or maybe I am weak to distinguish that sensation. All is see is that my hair are re-growing, which matters the most.

But went I recollect, I had put some of it on my forehead which made it go red like a cherry or as if I had put blush-on on the wrong place! "I'm a 27 year old male. Male pattern baldness runs in my family. My Dad and my Grandfather aren't too bald, but they don't have a full head of hair either. I was lucky enough to find Nioxin after my stylist (yes, stylist) recommended it to me when she noticed that the hair on the top of my head seemed a little thinner. Although I was disappointed with the news, I was determined to not let it progress further. I had always used a cheap shampoo like Head and Shoulders or Herbal Essences and neither of them are too effective against hair loss because they don't remove DHT, reduce inflammation and they contain sodium laurel sulfate which destroys the protein store in your hair. I used to always find hairs on my pillow (about 10 or 12, typically), since starting Nioxin, I don't have any hair on my pillow and I definitely have less in the shower. The top part on my head seems to have filled in too! I'm going to ask my stylist if she thinks it has too and give her a nice thank you for recommending Nioxin to me. Try to buy it online, it's really expensive in the salon. I certainly recommend it."

"I'm 34 years old and I have had 2 children (1 boy - age 9 and 1 girl - age 5) after both of my pregnancies I experienced a great deal of hair loss. After my first child, I would literally get 200 hairs in my hands when I washed my hair. It was scary. My doctor reassured me that it would grow back after my hormones balanced out. It did. I read some Nioxin reviews online and saw that it seemed to be effective for post-maternal hair loss. I made sure I had the entire system on hand before I gave birth to our second child.
